Hey guys!

Could you tell me if my 2 months progress is good for the time i've been hitting the gym?

I didn't weight myself when i first started but now i'm 72kg, 173cm height and 86cm waist.

month 0

Month 2

i think im 19.56% BF at this moment? What's the best way to measure it?

My goal is to get to 15%, i dont even want to have blocky abs LOL.. just being lean.

Should i stay on a 50g/day of carb diet?

Sometimes i feel like i have made no progress at all because my waist is practically the same.

@Dideroth you are definitely looking leaner my friend! Awesome job so far!!

From your pictures I would guess you are at around 18-20% bodyfat. Not too bad. Taking only 50g of carbs every single day is pretty drastic though.. have you hit a plateau? Or are you still losing weight consistently?

Also, don't worry too much about the waist. That is typically and area where the weight comes off last so if you keep working at it, you'll lose some fat there. The only other thing is that depending on your genetics you may have a wider waist but you won't know that for sure until you drop the bf% a bit more.

Thanks, Scott 😀

This motivates me so much!

I think i made a typo when i said "Should i stay on a 50g/day carb diet" because im not. I think i'm taking about 100-150g a day. I watched your Meal Plan video and you said at the end that 50 to 100g a day of carb is for Fat Loss (Maybe i misunderstood you).

About the plateau, yeah i think i already hit it, although i'd like to get to 70Kg. We'll see.

By the way, do you think i should keep doing cardio? i run 3Km in 20 minutes everyday.

Thanks for the answer!

Well.. 50-100g for rapid fat loss. But if you don't need it done rapidly, then you can have your carbs a bit higher.

I'd suggest a bit more HIIT training instead - Maybe keep your long distance running 2 times a week, and then 2 other times do HIIT where you sprint/run fast for 1 minute, jog/walk for 1 minute and repeat for 15-20 minutes. That might help you bust through that plateau.
