Good morning all,
I am new to the website and still trying to figure my way around. I was hoping to get some help setting myself up on here with a workout routine. Any advice is welcome.
Goals:
- lose weight (I plan on having my nutrition take on most the work here)
- gain muscle (build a solid foundation) - I would like to continue weight lifting for the foreseeable future, so I am not looking for a quick fix type routine. Looking for something that will help me develop sustainable workout habits.
- improve overall fitness
Background:
- Male
- 23 years old
- 6 feet tall
- 216 lbs (recently lost 20 lbs and looking to lose about 30 lbs more)
- Just getting back to the gym after 2 year hiatus
- I have been doing 30 min cardio / day for 1 month now and plan to continue
- Have access to full gym
- I have a good nutrition plan in place
Question to the community...what are my first steps? Where should I start?
