I’m upgrading my home gym. The main focus of my new setup is an eight foot by twelve foot lifting platform with bookended rack and DAP.

i would like to ask for advice on what DAP to get.

I would like as much weight at the handle as possible on this.

According to my research the most available at the handle on just about any machine seems to be about 50kg.

I live in the central belt of Scotland, UK. Anything linked, could you please make sure it’s easily available there.

Thanks in advance for any advice given.

@WarWounds How big are you planning to go? A relatively small station? So nothing like a full cable cross over? Those would allow you to get a bit more weight on the weight stacks probably.

I would be able to make space for a cable cross over if the benefit was high enough. It would need to fit on the eight foot width of the lifting platform though. Otherwise I wouldn’t get the window on that side open.

Do you know where I could get one of those bar accessories for these machines?

thanks for the reply. I’ll start looking at the cable cross over machines ATM.

@WarWounds Depending on what quality you want and how much you want to spend, you could probably just buy some from Amazon.

Hope you find something good man, cable crossovers just give you a bit more room to move and probably an opportunity to do a wider variety of exercises!
