I've been lifting with a pair of Gold's Gym fingerless gloves but am wondering if it would be better to lift without gloves? I got my first injury yesterday when bench pressing 200lbs for 5 reps (my first time at 200 yay). It's a small skin abrasion on the tip of my thumb, stings like the dickens today. But I'm seeing a debate on the internet that wearing gloves actually hampers your ability to grip real strongly. So, no gloves, fingerless gloves, or full-fingered gloves when lifting?
