Personally I always like wearing minimums running shoes when I do squats and dead lifts. There's little to nothing to the shoes so its as if your lifting bare foot, without actually taking your shoes off. I also wear light weight shorts, generally Adidas they are super comfortable. I do wear wrist wraps for the added support with heavier weights; I never wear gloves (Build thoes calluses!) For shirts I'm always rocking the SHF cut offs, the freedom and the fact that they breath so well is very important to me.

What do you all wear in the gym?!

Sweat pants and BodyKnits cut off workout shirts. I wear cross trainers but I do deadlifts and Romanian deadlifts in my socks - sometimes squatting as well.

I'm still searching for a pair of good lifting shoes, but fortunately my friend told me that there's a mall outside Copenhagen with three sports stores, so I'll go there asap to try and find a good pair! My current shoes for regular wear aren't good enough either actually, so I'm also gonna get some for casual wear.

When I work out in the gym I usually wear standard t-shirts or one of my three tank-tops (white, black or grey - they're really neat!). My tank-tops has to be my favourite attire, due to the freedom of movement it gives me - and as I get bigger I'm sure I'll be happy to show off the goods too, haha! I'm also gonna need to get an SHF tank-top at some point too, but I want to earn it first through hard work and dedication, as a reward for myself.

For training outdoors I'm usually in my sweatpants or shorts if the weather is hot.. I love sweatpants, I wear them regularly too - what's jeans? pff.

..And somehow this reminded me that I need to get some better socks. So shoes and socks it is!

In my spare time I rescue children from earthquakes and ride tamed tigers, as well as extreme diving and I also support independent movie projects. Oh, and did I mention that I know how to cook as well? Don't try to find yourself - create yourself. Be who you want to be. Get ripped or die mirin'

I thought about getting some wrestling shoes, but they are just a bit more expensive then I was willing to go at the moment.

I ride my bike to the gym, so when it's warmer, I wear a singlet (tank), shorts and cap with a pair of Merrell barefoot runners.

But when it's a cold winter morning, I wear compression tights, long-sleeved compression top (both for warmth), short sleeve T-shirt, shorts (to protect modesty!), long sleeve t-shirt, wind jacket, track suit/sweat pants, beanie, neck gator, gloves and those barefoot runners.

I really prefer working out in summer, 'cos it takes far less time to get dressed!

I wear these awesome New Balance 920 running shoes that are great for the track and lifting. They are on the pricer side but when you are running around the world, you gotta protect your feet!

Its crazy cuz I got a lot of free dry-fit type shirts from my local Nutri-Shop and they have sleeves on them. Well last year I was really getting burnt out at the gym and I wasn't seeing any results. My Fiance Kat ripped the sleeves off and said "Go look in the mirror! Now I don't wanna hear any more complainning that your not makin gains!" So I looked in the mirror and was like oh shit! It made a huge difference being able to see my deltoids and biceps! My confience was restored and haven't been discouraged since :)

2 year #SHF athlete I love to train hard and help others when they want it.

Might as well go full commando and do it naked, haha!

Personally I enjoy training in rags. For my actually coaching and personal training gigs I'm pretty much under-armoured to the nines, but while I train myself I'm typically in some no-name brand pair of shorts (see also: Scott's old school blue shorts from way back when), and a generic old t-shirt covered by a thrift store zip-up hoodie.

My goal originally while I was bodybuilding was to train as covered and as humbled as possible to really focus on the movement quality and contraction themselves without being distracted by the visible changes my body would be going under, now it's taken on much more of a personal meaning.

I thrive in the sweat equity of training, the universality of each of our journeys. We aren't politicians, we aren't doctors, we aren't policeman or office workers in the gym, we are all united under the iron and our struggle to attain our goals. The rags help reinforce that mindset. I am no better than you, I am no better than me. Stay hungry, stay after it.
