Anyone have anything to replace deadlifts? They hurt my lower back due to my pars and defect in my L5

Also, anyone have any ideas to replace the cable flys, dumbbell flys, dumbbell military press, and/or lat pulldowns? When I do those my shoulder pops and I feel a tingle pain from my shoulder, through my arm, all the way to my finger tips.

Also box jumps, I have anxiety when it comes to those

BTW this is for the 12 week push/pull/legs thing.

PS I won't be starting until middle of May 2021 and I also haven't worked out in over a year.

Sounds like you most likely are dealing with a lot of FORM issues as well as shoulders that need to be strengthened / loosened up.  Avoiding these movements will not help you as they are basic movements that you should be able to do. What kind of rehab / warm-ups are you doing to try to strengthen your shoulders?

As for deadlifts, there really is no "replacement" for them.  If they cause you pain / discomfort and you see no way around it... I would just remove the exercise from your workout.

OR, you can post a video here of your form and maybe there are some "form tweaks" we can make to make the exercise managable.
