About Me   

After almost a year of doing absolutely nothing — after a brain surgery — in December 2014 I decided to finally start becoming active again. Losing some belly fat I accumulated in a few years of living a rather lazy life isn't a priority yet — I'll "cut" when spring arrives and I can grab my racing bike again — building strength is. I chose StrongLifts 5x5 as my routine for now and added face pulls and reverse flyes to try to correct my rolled shoulders. I lack shoulder and thoracic mobility, though, so squats and overhead press are giving me some trouble. Working on that with mobility exercises five times a week, like thoracic extensions on a foam roller and shoulder dislocations. SL5x5 is meant to get me started on basic strength. I'll re-evaluate after half a year to see what road I'll take. I've got a long road ahead of me, but I don't mind. Working out gives me positive energy, even when it really tires me out. For now I don't follow a strict meal plan. I eat "normal" and don't binge on anything sweet or fat.
