Can I gain strength and work on endurance at the same time?

By Scott Herman in Conditioning / Endurance Training · Published

If you organize your training properly, it is possible.

You can choose to work on strength as well as endurance, or have specific days aligned to different types of training.

Starting your workout off with a heavy 5x5 lift will improve your strength, and from there you can move on to a CIRCUIT to target endurance.

Alternatively, you can do three days of endurance and three days of strength training. If one goal is more important to you than the other, manipulate the amount of days you have for each type of training.
