Looking for a good benchmark workout? This quick tabata style workout is great for gauging your progress. With all the hard work you put in and the goals you are reaching, it is great to see that progress in a benchmark workout. Be sure to perform this workout once a month and track your results. If you see you are not progressing much with a certain exercise, you will know where some of your weaknesses lye and need to be worked on.
Tabata Benchmark
8 rounds per exercises, 20 seconds on 10 seconds off.
Complete one exercise before moving onto the next.
- Air Squats ( get that butt down as low as possible with proper form!)
- Shin Slaps ( you can check out form on the website here in Scott’s videos)
- Barbell Shoulder Press (make sure to bring your head through at the top)
- Ring Dips ( if you do not have rings available use a bench or chair)
This is not only going to be a great benchmark workout, it will totally kick your butt! Go hard and keep getting better one rep at a time :)
