So here in Spain you can't get the Syntha-6 Isolate, that Scott uses in anyway, there is however a syntha powder but it costs 60€. So I wanted to know what to look for in a protein powder, what sort of price to expect and, if possible, any suggestions by name.

Basically what you should look for in a protein though is that it is almost only protein. You don't want one that is loaded with heaps of extra carbs or fat, because that's not what you're buying it for. Also you want one from a trusted brand so you know you are getting quality.

Obviously I always suggest BSN because I know they are quality, but there are a number of quality brands out there.

Trusted brands would be your bigger brands. Think of ones like BSN, Optimum Nutrition, MyProtein, PEScience, EHP Labs, Quest to name a few. Generally most proteins are pretty good, just look at their ingredients list and things like that to see if there is anything fishy in there, and if there is, do a bit of research on it to see what it is.
