Hey guys, just wanted to say thanks for being such a fun and awesome community. I have been dealing with A LOT of bullshit for the last few weeks and I do my best to hide it. It might seem weird to others, but gaming (and lifting) have always been an outlet for me to let out rage and negativity and being able to post these videos and chat with all of you is very enjoyable to me. Scott, I just found a study that supports higher ingestion of protein in certain circumstances such as following whole body exercise. It seems that muscle protein synthesis increases as an adaptation and thus higher doses of protein can be benificial:
I guess you were right about high protein, at least conditionally ;)

I agree with you that gaming and lifting is an outlet to let out all the negativity. It's a great way to release stress, way better than other "hobbies".Keep up the good stuff Scott.

Sorry you are having to deal with craziness Scott :( Life’s challenges can be a pain in the ass. I wish you nothing but goodness, hopefully the shit blows over quickly. Ha! I love gaming but it can keep me from lifting 😂 I’ve really had to take a break from my PS4, it causes me to procrastinate 🤦ðŸ¼â™€ï¸ “Just one more quest, and then I’ll do something productive” Yikes 💖🎮

High protein for the win bro, did you ever really doubt me? 😉😎 haha. Like I have said in the past.. if you have current kidney issues or other health issues related to protein intake, it might not be good to go on the high end.. but other than that there's nothing wrong with more protein really!

@SavvvyD! Where you been?! haha. So glad you are back! Hopefully the craziness is fading now haha.. well.. until we move! I know what you mean though about gaming and lifting haha. That's another good reason I found for training early.. it means that if I game later I know I have already been to the gym! ðŸ˜ðŸ’ª

@scott_herman lol Sorrrrry 🙃 I tend to disappear randomly and before I realize, 6 months have already passed. Oops. I’ve been gaaaaming 😂 (damn Bethesda and Naughty Dog Productions) and dealing with a new job/life annoyances. I’ve also been contemplating changing my workout schedule too. I went from working Mon-Fri. 7:45-3:45 to a schedule that changes between 7:45am-4:15 or 10:45am-8:15. Much better working environment but those little changes threw a wrench into my routine. Ha! My motivation was the fact I actually checked my weight and I put on almost 10lbs...and it’s definitely not muscle. Luckily I’m small framed so I can hide it 😂 So back to my fitness inspiration habits, checking in here more often and back on Instagram (especially since I missed chatting with Erica 😞) So far so good. Once you guys move in and settle, life will be awesome 😎 🌞🌴 Who doesn’t want to move to Florida??! #jelly

Haha gaming can take up a good chunk of your time if you're not careful! Glad you are back though. Congrats on the new job, sounds like you are enjoying it, even with the different schedule.
Motivation comes in all shapes and sizes haha, at least you found that motivation again! Time to get bak on track 🙌ðŸ‹
